Unfiltered Canine offers small-scale boarding, adventure outings, walks, and drop-in visits for dogs who need more than a quick leash clip or a loud kennel environment. Dogs are treated as individuals, not spots on a schedule.

This is hands-on work, with an emphasis on structure, safety, and realistic expectations over perfection or buzzwords.

Unfiltered Canine is a one-person operation. Every dog is handled directly by me, with experience working with rescues, high-energy dogs, and dogs that require patience and thoughtful handling.

Fit matters. If Unfiltered Canine isn’t the right option, that will be said upfront. If it is, you can be confident your dog is in capable hands.

Our Services

Boarding

Small-scale, in-home boarding for dogs who don’t do well in traditional kennel settings. We keep numbers low and routines consistent. This is a good fit for dogs who need structure and supervision, not chaos.

Drop-In Visits

In-home visits for feeding, potty breaks, medication, and general check-ins. Best for dogs (and other pets) who don’t need full walks but do need reliable care.

Rescue Matchmaking

Support for local rescues, fosters, and adopters focused on realistic placement. This is about honest dog descriptions, lifestyle fit, and helping placements last.

Adventure Outings

Structured outings designed for movement, enrichment, and decompression. These are not free-for-all hikes. Dogs are handled intentionally, with safety and control as the priority.

Because we are not a daycare or kennel environment, all new clients must complete an intake form before booking. This allows us to determine whether our services are a safe and appropriate fit for your dog.

The intake form helps us understand your dog’s history, behavior, health, and daily routine. Honest answers are required. This is not for judgment, but for safety.

Some dogs thrive in our care. Others may be better served elsewhere, and we will always be upfront about that.

After submission, we review each form individually. If your dog appears to be a good fit, we’ll reach out to discuss next steps.

Submitting an intake form does not guarantee acceptance or availability.
